The news broke today that Twitter has permanently banned President Trump.
The liberal brigades have predictably emerged to justify Twitter's move. But of all the arguments used to support the banning, this from 'NBC News presidential historian' Michael Beschloss could be the most recklessly contemptible.
MICHAEL BESCHLOSS: The problem, Twitter is instant. So, if he wants to have a sudden impact on people, or to move the stock market. Maybe he’s got friends who are investing in certain stocks that will benefit. Maybe they'll give him a kickback! I don't know if any of that is true.

Michael Beschloss Biography
This guy was a regular guest of radio legend Don Imus over the years, and Imus exposed him as a fraud without even trying. It occurred during a radio interview some months into Obama’s first term back in 2009, as I remember it. I’ll paraphrase the exchange here:
BESCHLOSS: “I believe Barack Obama has the highest IQ of any president in U.S. history.”
IMUS: “Really? What’s his IQ?”
The uncomfortable dead silence at the other end of the phone line captured the idiocy of that statement perfectly. No serious PRESIDENTIAL HISTORIAN would ever make an outlandish statement like that without having even the most basic piece of information he’d need to support it.

Presidential historian and best-selling author Michael Beschloss will deliver a virtual talk at a University of Rochester event in March.
Beschloss is the fifth speaker in the Difficult Conversations as a Catalyst for Change series, presented by Donald Hall, the University’s Robert L. and Mary Sproull Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Sciences & Engineering. Beschloss will discuss “What Makes a Great US President,” starting at 6 p.m. EST on Monday, March 8. The event is expected to run until 7:30 p.m.
